Georgia Southern Peach District Qualifier

for the 2024 National Tournament

Welcome to the 2024 Georgia Southern Peach District Tournament Series!

This year's tournament will be run virtually for all main events on February 23-24, 2024. Debates will start on the afternoon of Friday, February 23 and finish in the morning of February 24. Speech events will take ASYNCHRONOUSLY with videos uploaded by Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at 500 PM

Fees are $10 per student, not per entry. Therefore a two-person event is $20. Judging Requirement is Debate 1 judge/2 entries (Debate judges may judge either PF or LD); Speech 1 judge/5 entries.

Rd. 1 - 3:00 PM

Rd 2 - 4:15 PM

Rd. 3 - 5:30 PM

Rd. 4 - 6:45 PM

Break - 8:00 PM

EXTEMP - will be held asynchronously. Students must complete their prep "live" with their coach and upload the video immediately following prep. Topics for each competitor will be sent to their coach. Coaches are asked to keep a time chart for when prep for each competitor begins and ends. IF a final round is needed, finalists will be sent a second set of topics and need to record a new speech for the final round which will be judged the week of February 26.
